Exactly, at the sports field Mariatrost, right at the final stop of line 1, a bike event is taking place. You don't even have to travel far to be part of it – unless, of course, you come with your bike from the city, which is the whole point. Mariatrost is known for its hills, so you can train your calves before you even arrive at the event. Or you can comfortably take line 1 to the final stop and save yourself the climb – but who does that when it comes to cycling?
A bike event right at the final stop of line 1 is quite a statement. After the ride, you can just hop back on the tram if your legs don't want to cooperate anymore. Or you can leisurely cycle back, perhaps via Hilmteich, if you want to take another round. So mark September 27 boldly in your calendar.
