Rideshare with a Twist: BikeGraz Ride Shares for All Pedal Warriors
You know how it is: You feel like going on a nice bike ride today, but riding alone is only half as fun. Or you want to explore the city and surroundings with others, chat a bit, and maybe make new friends. This is exactly where our BIKEGRAZ ride shares come in – or as the trendy new German might say: rideshare.
Yes, you read that right! With us, you can easily and conveniently create a ride share and invite other pedal fans to join you. Sounds good, right? But how exactly does it work?
It’s as simple as this:
- Create an event: Log into your BIKEGRAZ account and create a new ride. Here you can set everything: Where does it start? How long will the tour be? How fast will we pedal? And most importantly – when do we start?
- Mark as ride share: Very important: check the box for “Ride Share.” This signals to everyone that you’re looking for fellow riders and open to company.
- Set visibility: Who may join? That’s up to you! You can reserve the ride just for yourself (okay, that sounds a bit paradoxical if you’re looking for riders), make it open only to friends, or even make it publicly visible – whatever you prefer.
- Show event in the calendar: So no rider misses your tour, you can also display the event in the general BIKEGRAZ calendar. That way, everyone can see when the next group ride starts.
