There is feedback that you read, nod briefly... and then there's feedback that sweetens your day.
Mary and Koos from the Netherlands tried our BikeGraz sightseeing tour in Dutch. After the tour, we received a message that truly delighted us:
Interesting texts, we had to laugh a little at almost every stop.
Mission accomplished.
Because that's exactly what we want to achieve with our tours: Of course, you should get to know Graz. But no one needs an audio guide that sounds like a dry history book. We prefer to tell exciting stories, little anecdotes, and surprising facts – often with a wink.
The rest of the tour was also convincing.
The two praised the pleasant narration voice:
Great voice, easy to understand.
Perfect. After all, you should be able to listen relaxed during the ride and not puzzle over what was just said.
By the way, Mary and Koos proved something else:
Our navigation works excellently... when the smartphone is allowed to share the location with the tour.😄
That was the problem this time. The location sharing was not activated on both phones, so the tour naturally couldn't know where they were.
The result? I got to play the personal navigator for about two and a half hours spontaneously.
And honestly: It was a lot of fun. Together we not only found all the planned stops but also discovered a few small, fine extras along the way that aren't in any tour description.
And don't worry: When we add extra stops, we prefer to show hidden gems rather than the most beautiful construction sites between Eggenberg Castle and the city center. 😉
Such a personal VIP accompaniment is usually not included in the tour price, though.
Our tip for everyone starting a BikeGraz tour:
Take a minute before the actual tour and start our test tour. It will quickly say that you're not on the track – that's exactly what it's supposed to do. More importantly, you'll immediately see if your smartphone has correctly shared the location. Then the navigation will work without problems later.
This way, you can fully concentrate on Graz during the tour – and I don't have to hope that my phone battery lasts for two and a half hours of remote navigation.
We are particularly pleased that our tour works in other languages as well. Whether in German, English, Dutch, or one of the many other available languages – we want guests to feel as quickly as possible like a good friend is showing them around Graz.
