A boost for our cycle paths in Graz!
You may have already noticed: our Deputy Mayor Schwentner is really stepping on the gas when it comes to our beloved cycling and pedestrian projects here in Graz. And that’s great news for all of us who love getting about on two wheels!
The thing is, the different approaches taken by the city and the state on these projects seem to have stalled a bit. But hey, we’ve all been there, haven’t we? Sometimes you just need a little nudge to get things rolling so we can finally reap the rewards of the planning. Just like the climb up the Lustbühel – a bit of extra pressure always helps there too! 😉
The goal is clear: we want to be able to cycle through our beautiful city in an even more relaxed and, above all, safer way. Imagine even more continuous cycle paths that take you from the Murradweg straight to the nearest ice cream parlour on Mariahilferplatz, without any major detours or unnecessary stops. Or safer junctions that make everyday life easier for us cyclists.
Every project that is implemented more quickly means more freedom, more comfort and simply even more fun cycling in Graz for us. Isn’t it wonderful when someone champions our cause like this? We can already look forward to the next improvements, which will make our journey through the city even more enjoyable.
