RideAlong: Your new cycling buddy for Graz is here!
Hey there! Heard the news? There’s something new happening at BikeGraz again, and this time it’s going to be really exciting for anyone who prefers not to cycle through our beautiful city on their own. Imagine you want to try out a new route but don’t feel like setting off on your own. Or perhaps you’re simply looking for someone to accompany you on your way to work or uni. That’s exactly what our brand-new feature is for: RideAlong!
The idea is simple but brilliant: you can post your planned ride or daily route and see if anyone in the community is heading in the same direction at the same time. Or you can simply browse through the rides on offer and tag along with someone. Imagine you’re cycling leisurely south along the Murradweg, and suddenly you’ve got company for part of the way. Or you need a bit of motivation for the climb up to Plabutsch and find someone to cheer you on – or just ride alongside you, panting away!
Why RideAlong? Quite simply:
Community: Because cycling together is simply more fun. Meeting new people, sharing experiences, or just riding side by side in silence – anything is possible.
Safety: Especially at dusk or on unfamiliar routes, you often feel safer in a pair.
Motivation: Sometimes you just need a little nudge to get your bike out of the basement. A shared appointment helps immensely!
