Revive my bike! How Your Old Bicycle Gets a New Life – Thanks to Carla and BICYCLE

Then we have a very special tip for you today that not only brings your bike treasures back to life but also lights up the community in Graz!
The Project: Revive my bike – a true power dream team
Revive my bike is a joint bicycle project by Carla – the Caritas donation shop – and the association BICYCLE, a social-economic youth employment and training organization. The idea behind it is as simple as it is brilliant: broken, old bicycles are collected, lovingly restored, and then resold. Everyone benefits from this:
- Bicycles get a second life.
- Youth receive practical training and job prospects in bicycle repair.
- Buyers find affordable and well-refurbished bikes.
- The environment is relieved because fewer bikes are thrown away.
And the best part: you can get involved!
How it works – handing in your bike made easy
If your two-wheeler has more patches than well-oiled chains, you should definitely bring it to one of the two Carla Shops:

There, the dedicated team will accept your bike – whether it has flat tires, a bent handlebar, or a squeaky saddle. A bit rusty? No problem! Afterwards, your bike is handed over to the BICYCLE association where young people, with lots of love, know-how, and a wrench in hand, carry out the repairs. You could almost say: here, bikes are not just repaired, but given a little piece of heart as well.

There are numerous bike-related offers in Graz, but Revive my bike combines so many positives in one project:
