Night Owls Pay Attention: New Hilmteich Detour Route for Cyclists is Here!

Those of you who've been cycling around Hilmteich lately know the dilemma: the construction site there doesn't always make life easy for us cyclists. Especially if you want to go for an evening ride or cycle to work in the morning, it can sometimes be a real headache.
But there's good news! Following an initiative by activists, the City of Graz has now set up a temporary detour route for us cyclists at the Hilmteich construction site. Now that's something!
What's special about it is that this route is truly intended as a 'proper' alternative and is available to us cyclists daily from 9 PM in the evening until 9 AM in the morning. This is super practical for all early birds, night owls, or those who want to avoid peak hour traffic.
Remember, it's a temporary solution as long as the construction site is active. So, take advantage of it if you're out and about during these hours and need to pass the Hilmteich. It's always good to see things happening that make cycling easier in our beautiful city.
