Lights out for the bike checks in Graz this autumn
Imagine you've been there every autumn for 20 years, ready to help the cyclists in Graz – and then this year everything is different. That's exactly what is happening to the cycling lobby ARGUS Steiermark with their popular light & technical checks, which will unfortunately be missing this autumn.
The usual checks, which have ensured safe bikes in Graz for two decades, are canceled. The reason? Budget cuts from the city of Graz. Once again, it shows that headwinds in Graz can be found not only on the road but also in the budget plan.
This means for us cyclists that we need to keep a particularly watchful eye on lights and brakes this autumn, before a tram at the main square shows us who has priority here. So, it's better to check yourself one more time to ensure you get through the dark season safely.
