Get ready: the 'Grazer Gravel Chase' is coming!
Hello, dear BikeGraz community!
I’ve got something really special lined up for you that’s going to make us work up a proper sweat this coming spring – but in a good way! The lads and lasses from Gravel Grinders Graz have come up with something truly special again: a unique treasure hunt called the ‘Grazer Gravel Chase’. And the best bit? It’s designed especially for us gravel enthusiasts!
Make a note of the date: 25 April 2026 is the big day. Yes, I know, it’s still a while away, but as we all know, anticipation is half the fun, isn’t it? And that gives us plenty of time to get our gravel bikes in shape and maybe rack up a few extra kilometres on the trails around Plabutsch or in the Leechwald.
The starting point is right here in our lovely town, more specifically at Lemur Bike. That’s handy, as we can gather there just before the event, grab a quick coffee and soak up the excitement before hitting the trails. Exactly what awaits us is, of course, still a bit of a secret – it is a treasure hunt, after all! But with the Gravel Grinders behind it, we can be sure it’ll be a challenge that takes us over hill and dale, through the green hills of Styria and perhaps even along the Mur Cycle Path, before we head off into the countryside.
A scavenger hunt on a gravel bike – that sounds like the perfect mix of adventure, a sense of direction and, of course, plenty of pedal power. Keep your eyes peeled for more info from the Gravel Grinders as soon as they reveal further details. I’m already excited to see which corners of our region we’ll get to explore this time on new trails!
