Graz 2030: Where the Cycling Offensive is Gaining Momentum
If you thought that the Cycling Offensive Graz 2030 is sleeping, you are greatly mistaken. The network of cycling infrastructure is continuously being expanded, and an overview of the current projects shows that a lot is happening. The city is gradually implementing the plans so that we residents of Graz will soon be even better on the move – even if "gradually" can sometimes be a flexible term in Graz.
Specifically, projects like Sturzgasse, the cycling playgrounds, and the Weinzöttl area are on the list. Personally, I find the GRW Murfeld particularly exciting, as there is always potential for improvements there, and of course the bicycle street, which hopefully will soon provide more relaxed cycling before a tram at the Hauptplatz shows you who has priority here.
