Styria wants to become cycling country number 1. We have already started cycling. 🚴

That Styria is a beautiful cycling region, we have actually known for a while. Now it is to become officially the number 1 cycling region in Austria.

And to be honest? We like it.

Styria Tourism is investing in new bike paths, mountain bike and gravel routes, bike parks, and better infrastructure. Since March 2026, the new Meridiem Trail also runs for about 600 kilometers from Vienna to Villach – of course with a stop in Graz.

For many, Graz will no longer just be the city they cycle through.

But a city where they might also stay a day longer.

That's exactly why we founded BikeGraz.

Those who are out cycling usually don’t want to spend hours searching for parking spaces, stick to fixed tour times, or roll through the city with a group.

They just want to ride off.

That's how our Top-10 sightseeing tour came about.

About 12.6 kilometers, 17 sights, and plenty of stories about Graz.

From Schloss Eggenberg to the Kunsthaus and the Murinsel to the Hauptplatz, the Uhrturm, and many places you would probably just pass by otherwise.

Your phone takes over as the tour guide.

Our tour is completely self-guided.

The navigation takes you to the next stop, and as soon as you arrive there, the story starts automatically.

So you don’t have to constantly look at a map or think about which button to press next.

Your phone takes care of that.

You just focus on the important things.

Like whether you need an ice cream at Lendplatz.

(The right answer is: Yes.)

No stress. No clock. No tour guide with a flag.

The best thing about a self-guided tour?

You set the pace.

Do you want to stay ten minutes longer at Schloss Eggenberg?

Go ahead.

Do you like the view at the Murinsel better than you thought?

Just stay seated.

Did you accidentally discover a nice cafΓ©?

We certainly won’t rush you.

Our tour won’t run away.

And this is just the beginning.

The Top-10 sightseeing tour is just the beginning.

More tours – by bike and on foot – are already in the works. Because Graz has many more stories to tell than can fit into a single tour.

If Styria wants to become the number 1 cycling region, we are happy to help.

And in the most pleasant way we know:

With relaxed cycling, exciting stories, and a chuckle or two along the way.

Just try the tour for yourself.

We promise you just one thing:

Afterwards, you will see Graz with different eyes.

And probably also with a few more kilometers on your bike computer.
