Your weekend forecast for Graz!

The weekend of 20–22 March 2026 is just around the corner and is set to bring changeable weather. On Friday, we can expect temperatures of 11°C with partly cloudy skies. Saturday will be a bit wetter, with 10°C and light rain, before Sunday brings 12°C and mostly cloudy skies.

Planned events and activities:

  • Friday, 20 March: ‘MotionExpo 2026’ runs all day. Anyone interested in selling at the AK Bike Exchange can drop off their items from 10:00 am (drop-off day for sellers). In the afternoon, the 'JSV Rettenbach Bike Training' sessions start at 3.00 pm, and from 5.00 pm there will be a 'Light and Technical Check' in the Augarten.
  • Saturday, 21 March: The ‘Grevet #1 – Styria – Social Ride’ begins at 10:00. At the same time, the ‘Graz: AK Bike Exchange 20–21 March’ continues.
  • Sunday, 22 March: At 9.00 am, the ‘Start of the Summer Cycling Season’ marks the official start of the warmer cycling season – a great opportunity to get your bikes ready.

Our recommended rides for the weekend:

For group rides, there are several organised options on Sunday that we highly recommend:

  • Easy ride (under 40 km): For a relaxed ride, we recommend a leisurely trip along the Mur to Gratkorn and back. That’s about 25–30 kilometres on flat terrain, ideal for the start of the season or for a relaxed coffee break.
  • Moderate tour (40–80 km): If you’re looking for a moderate route, join the ‘Moderate coffee ride 😎☕🚲’. This starts on Sunday at 10.15 am and covers 67.93 km with 714 metres of elevation gain. A great opportunity to ride with other cyclists.
  • Challenging ride (over 80 km): For the more resilient among you, the 'Motivated coffee ride 💪☕🚲' is the perfect choice. It also starts on Sunday at 10:00 am and, covering 103.51 km with 1,333 metres of elevation gain, is a real challenge.
