So, who among you has already spotted the BiciBus in Graz? The project that makes our streets a bit more colorful and, above all, bike-friendlier is actually on a strong expansion course. Instead of sitting in the parent taxi, the kids now ride together with their parents on the bike – and on no fewer than eight routes across Graz! A great thing when you consider how many cars would otherwise be on the road in the mornings. Not only the environment is happy about that, but also the Lendplatz when a few cars are missing there.
And because such a success naturally also needs exchange, there was a meeting on October 9 where everyone involved could share their experiences. That way the BiciBus in Graz remains not just a nice idea, but is also continually being developed. Pedals instead of a sheet-metal avalanche – now that’s a statement, isn’t it? Maybe we’ll soon see even more BiciBuses zooming through our city. And who knows, maybe this will be the incentive to use your own bike again for the commute to work – we still won't send you up the Schlossberg by bike, but the Murradweg is nice too!
